Business Meeting Minutes

June 7, 2022

GSR Report:  Siobhan reported on continued progress toward the redistricting for District 4.

A motion was made to approve the GSR report and was accepted unanimously.

Secretary Report: Deb reports that the Minutes from the May Business meeting are posted on the website. One correction to the minutes will be made.  A motion was made to approve the May Minutes and was accepted unanimously.

Treasurer Report: Presented by Liz. See attached for detailed treasurer’s report. End of May balance is $749.69. Herb made a motion to postpone making contributions to the District until the redistricting happens due to the District 4 having a surplus of funds.  The motion was accepted unanimously.  Treasurer’s Report was also accepted unanimously.

Host Chair Report: John D reports everything is running smoothly.  A few changes were reviewed. Terri volunteered to host Fridays, Liz will host on Saturdays, and Deb will host on Tuesdays.  Hosting is a great service opportunity for people who have desktop or laptop computers and are computer savvy.  The group welcomes new Host volunteers and John is available to train.  Motion made to approve the Host Chair report and was accepted unanimously.

Coins & Books Chair Report:  Terri & Pam D co-chair & reports that an average of 10 coins a month are sent out.  And 7 books sent out for 2022 so far. Motion made to approve the Coins & Books Chair report and was accepted unanimously.

New Business:  Terri made a motion to replace Saturday’s “Open Topic” meeting with “Living Sober” meeting starting in July.  There was            discussion and unanimous support for this motion and so it was passed.

Future Business:

• What new percentages to allocate to the State and to the GSO on a quarterly basis since we will be temporarily postponing the contributions to the District.
